03 Calibration
Calibration & Certification Services
A scale that’s off by a little is still wrong. We calibrate on-site against known test weights and leave you with documentation, not just a number.
Included What’s covered
- 01Scheduled calibration to keep readings accurate between full services
- 02Certification documentation for scales that need it on record
- 03Test-weight based calibration on-site, no shipping a scale out
- 04Calibration for animal, industrial, and custom scales alike
- 05Straight talk when a scale is out of tolerance and needs more than calibration
FAQ Common questions
What’s the difference between calibration and certification?
Calibration adjusts a scale to read accurately. Certification is the documentation proving it did, on a given date, against a known standard.
How do you know a scale needs calibrating?
Readings drift over time, temperature, load, and normal wear all move the number. A scheduled check catches it before it becomes a problem on paper.
How often should we get scales calibrated?
{{TODO: Kent to confirm a recommended interval, and whether it varies by scale type}}
Do you offer preventative maintenance programs?
Yes, calibration is usually part of a broader maintenance schedule rather than a one-off visit. See Repair & Maintenance for the full picture.
Not sure if your scale is still reading true?
That’s exactly what a calibration check settles.
